N-Complete - "Bringing Back The Past"

In 1988 Tom Armstrong needed a tractor to improve the grounds around his home. His needs were fairly simple - heavier than a garden tractor and less expensive than the new imports.

Recalling from his youth, how durable yesterdays tractors were, he decided to refurbish his own. He was drawn to the Ford tractors because he had experience with them as a young man. Remembering that they were simple to maintain and the perfect size for the work that lie ahead, the choice was obvious.

He purchased a 1948 8-N Ford tractor and rebuilt it from the "ground up". Tom had 25 years experience as an engineer specializing in "Industrial Rotating Machinery" and couldn't be satisfied with a simple repair and paint. It had to be totally back to original factory, mechanical, specifications. When the project was complete, it turned out that he had in fact, produced a remanufactured Ford tractor!

Shortly thereafter, a gentleman stopped by to watch Tom using the tractor to mow a fence row. When he determined that the tractor was not for sale, he offered to pay Tom to build one just like it. The rest is history.

Today, N-complete LLC, does more than just 8ns. They remanufacture Ford tractors built from 1939 through 1964.

N-Complete's goal is to provide U.S. built tractors under 50 horsepower that will be of the quality offered in the past.

It is important to note that N-Complete remanufactures working tractors.

Remanufacturing is not to be confused with Restoring.

Restoring amounts to fixing what is broken, painting and detailing the rest. In many cases, much effort (and money) is expended in locating the original, Ford factory supplied part.

Remanufacturing, however, mandates that we completely disassemble your tractor to bare, clean castings. We then inspect and reassemble with new components as required, to meet the original manufacturer's specifications. If the original part is no longer available, we replace the part with an "after market" part. Today's improved materials, coupled with our expertise and process, produce a product that will provide years of service. The end product results in virtually a new unit and is warranted as such.

But, that's not enough! The tractors have already lasted 50 years - they will last another 50 years. N-Complete is also dedicated to the quality of the organization behind the tractor.
